Bitters are a traditional cocktail ingredient made of bitter and aromatic herbs infused in alcohol. Used as only a few drops per drink they are the ‘salt & pepper’ that brings out flavor and character to your drinks.

We use wildcrafted ingredients, high-quality organic herbs in our bitters. They are formulated using traditional herbal knowledge and attention to providing flavors applicable to modern craft cocktails. Being alcohol extracts bitters will last for many years, but over time the flavors will change.

ELDERFLOWER SMASH COCKTAIL

2 oz gin
1 ½ oz elderflower liqueur
Juice of half a lemon
¼ dropper Citrus + Roots Bitters
4-5 mint leaves

Combine all ingredients in shaker with ice. Shake well and pour into cocktail glass with ice. Garnish with mint sprig.
